Flavones

Overview

Flavones are a class of flavonoids based on the backbone of 2-phenylchromen-4-one. Flavones are mainly found in fruits, but also present in grape wines, and stem and herb seeds. Flavone plays an important role in life activities, thus it is also called vitamin P.
