    Propofol Glucuronide Analysis Service

      Propofol glucuronide, with molecular formula C18H26O7. This compound is formed by the glucuronidation of propofol, where the propofol molecule undergoes conjugation with glucuronic acid, resulting in the formation of a glucuronide metabolite. Propofol glucuronide is a major metabolite of propofol, a widely used intravenous anesthetic agent. This metabolite is produced in the liver through the action of the enzyme UDP-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) during the detoxification and elimination process. Propofol glucuronide is commonly found in the urine and blood of patients following the administration of propofol, and it is an important indicator of the metabolic clearance of the drug.
