    Integrative PTM-Metabolomics Analysis

Post-translational modifications (PTMs) of proteins are covalent processing events occurring to proteins either during or after their translation. The "post-translationally modified proteome" refers to the collection of post-translationally modified proteins within a cell or tissue. Known protein PTMs include glycosylation, phosphorylation, acetylation, ubiquitination, disulfide bond formation, methylation, and nitrosylation, among others. The metabolome encompasses all small molecules (commonly referred to as metabolites) within a cell, tissue, or organism. Post-translationally modified proteins can regulate various cellular biological processes and impact metabolic changes in organisms. These proteins include post-translationally modified transcription factors and metabolic enzymes. Thus, integrating the analysis of the post-translationally modified proteome and the metabolome, and comparing their expression profiles, aids in elucidating the metabolic mechanisms of organisms at different levels. This approach helps identify differential modified proteins and metabolites, as well as the key pathways and related genes involved, facilitating further in-depth research.

MtoZ Biolabs employs Thermo Fisher's Orbitrap Fusion Lumos mass spectrometry platform combined with nano-liquid chromatography. Our services include identifying PTMs such as phosphorylation, glycosylation, ubiquitination, acetylation, methylation, disulfide bond formation, and nitrosylation. We also offer targeted and untargeted metabolomics analysis for various samples, integrating these with customizable bioinformatics analysis methods. This provides researchers with mass spectrometry-based integrated analysis services for PTM proteomics and metabolomics
