20-Carboxyarachidonic acid (20-COOH-AA) is a metabolite of arachidonic acid with a chemical structure consisting of a 20-carbon straight-chain carboxylic acid, featuring four cis double bonds. 20-COOH-AA is mainly derived from the enzymatic oxidation of arachidonic acid in the body and can also be found in some plants rich in omega-6 fatty acids.
