    ESI-MS/MS Analysis Service

      Electrospray Ionization Tandem Mass Spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) is a mass spectrometry analytical method that combines electrospray ionization (ESI) with tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS). ESI is a technique that uses an electric field to convert a sample solution into charged mist-like droplets, thereby achieving ionization of the sample. Tandem mass spectrometry involves introducing a second stage of mass analysis after the first, analyzing fragment ions produced from precursor ions to obtain structural and compositional information for subsequent data analysis.

       

      The ESI-MS/MS analysis service integrates the high ionization efficiency of electrospray ionization with the high resolution and selectivity of tandem mass spectrometry.       Case Study

      ESI-MS/MS analysis service is a basic life science research method, which can be extended to more application scenarios, to compare chondrosarcomas before and after cryoablation, and to look for clues that might be useful in the diagnosis and Pathophysiology of chondrosarcomas, leading to the development of new and effective treatments for sarcomas. In order to find differential proteins in the two groups, ESI-MS/MS was used to analyze the samples before and after treatment. Finally, more than 160 kinds of total differential proteins were identified. Most of the identified proteins are associated with various important pathways such as glycolysis, MAPK activation, PI3K-Akt signaling, extracellular matrix degradation, etc. This study illustrates the great significance of cryoablation treatment for chondrosarcoma, and it is the first to investigate the chondrosarcoma protein difference before and after treatment in the form of protein profile, which can be used as a basis for future research, especially in the treatment of chondrosarcoma, to find a new way for the treatment of chondrosarcoma.
