    IEt Analysis Service

      IEt (Tryptophol) is an aromatic alcohol composed of an indole core structure, with a chemical formula of C₁₀H₁₁NO, consisting of an indole ring and a hydroxyl group attached to a side chain. This compound primarily originates from the tryptophan metabolic pathway, especially through fermentation or metabolism in yeast, plants, and certain microorganisms. IEt exhibits various biological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antitumor, and antioxidant effects. The metabolites of IEt include its oxidized, hydroxylated, or glycosylated derivatives, which in some cases may enhance or modify its biological activities, such as regulating apoptosis and promoting antioxidant responses.       Serum, plasma, urine, tissues and other biological samples. It is necessary to select more than 3 materials with the same condition for each sample.

       

      2. Sample Volume

      • Animal tissue ≥ 100 mg
      • Plant tissue ≥ 200 mg
      • Serum/Plasma ≥ 200 μL
      • Urine ≥ 2 mL

       

      3. Sample Preservation

      Store at -80°C to maintain stability.
