    Phenaceturic Acid Analysis Service

Phenaceturic acid (phenylacetylglycine, PAG) is an important metabolic product primarily formed by the conjugation of phenylacetic acid and glycine in the liver. It is widely present in urine and plays a significant role in mammalian metabolism. PAG serves as a biomarker for various physiological and pathological conditions, including disorders such as phenylketonuria and other amino acid metabolism disorders. Additionally, PAG is important in gut microbiota metabolism research. Therefore, accurate quantitative and qualitative analysis of phenylacetylglycine is essential in clinical diagnostics, drug metabolism, and biomedical research.
