Plant Stem and Vein Protein Sequencing

In the field of plant science research, the proteomic composition and its function in plant stem veins have always been a hot topic. Stem veins, as important transport paths within plants, are not only responsible for transporting water, minerals, and organic nutrients but also participate in plant signal transmission and disease defense. Therefore, in-depth research into their proteins can help reveal the molecular mechanisms of plant growth and development, adaptation to the environment, and resistance regulation.

Currently, mass spectrometry is one of the most important technologies in plant proteomic research. Through mass spectrometry technology, the sequence of proteins can be accurately identified, the expression level of proteins can be quantitatively analyzed, and the interactions between proteins. MtoZ Biolabs uses nano LC-MS/MS nano-chromatography combined with tandem mass spectrometry and the Shimadzu Edman degradation sequencing system to perform sequence analysis of proteins in plant stem veins, including the analysis of the amino acid composition of proteins, N-terminal sequencing, C-terminal sequencing, and full sequence analysis, as well as protein N-terminal sequence analysis services based on Edman degradation. For proteins with unknown theoretical sequences, we provide protein de novo sequencing services based on the de novo sequencing method to analyze protein sequences.

      Service Advantages

      1. High Throughput and Sensitivity

The use of mass spectrometry technology enables hundreds to thousands of proteins to be identified in a single experiment, and it has extremely high detection sensitivity for low-abundance proteins.

      2. Wide Application Range

It is not only suitable for model plants but also for the proteomic research of stem veins of crops and rare plant species, supporting diversified biological research needs.

      3. In-Depth Bioinformatics Analysis

Combined with advanced bioinformatics tools, in-depth analysis of the obtained data can be performed to identify functional proteins, signal pathways, and disease biomarkers, etc.

MtoZ Biolabs' plant stem vein protein sequencing technology will use 6 common proteinases (Trypsin, Chymotrypsin, Asp-N, Glu-C, Lys-C, and Lys-N) for enzyme cutting and mass spectrometry of the target protein, and get the fragmented peptide fragments at the same time, complete the 100% determination of the protein sequence through the stitching of peptides, and deeply analyze the protein composition of the plant stem vein, free consultation is welcome.
