- Protein Interaction Profile Identification
- Complex Biological Protein Expression Profile Identification
Qualitative proteomics is a method that employs LC-MS/MS technology for non-targeted scanning of complex biological samples. By aligning mass spectrometry data with the theoretical protein databases of the respective species, it can accurately identify the proteins and their sequences present in the sample. This technique is vital in fields such as biomedical research, drug development, and disease diagnostics, as it uncovers the dynamics of protein expression and modifications within biological systems.
Qualitative proteomics integrates liquid chromatography (LC) with mass spectrometry (MS) to efficiently analyze proteins in complex biological matrices. This approach is especially effective for shotgun proteomics and for identifying interacting proteins in immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), and pulldown experiments.

Sample Submission Requirements
1. Gel Spots/Gel Strips
Coomassie or silver-stained gel spots or strips are required. Coomassie bands should be faintly visible to the naked eye, while silver-stained bands must be clearly visible without any signs of degradation. The length should correspond to the target band or be 1-2 cm long for the gel strip. Place the strips in an Eppendorf tube, add 0.5-1 mL of ddH2O to ensure the gel strips are adequately moistened for preservation, store at 4°C, and transport with an ice pack.
2. Protein Solution
A protein solution containing 20 μg is required. The composition of the solution must be communicated in advance to avoid interference with subsequent experiments. Ship using dry ice to maintain stability.
3. FFPE Samples
Please provide at least 10 sections, each measuring 5-10 μm in thickness and 50 mm² in area. Transport these samples at room temperature to preserve their integrity.
