    5-O-Demethylnobiletin Analysis Service

5-O-Demethylnobiletin is a naturally occurring flavonoid compound primarily found in citrus fruits, especially in high concentrations in orange and grapefruit peels. Its structure is similar to nobiletin, but it lacks a methyl group at the 5 position, a subtle structural change that significantly influences its biological activity and pharmacological effects. Research indicates that 5-O-Demethylnobiletin is an effective free radical scavenger that can reduce oxidative stress and prevent related diseases. This substance can inhibit key factors in inflammatory responses, making it useful in treating various inflammation-related diseases. Additionally, 5-O-Demethylnobiletin possesses anti-tumor activities, as well as cardiovascular and neuroprotective properties.
