    Antibody Sequencing Service

Antibody is a protein molecule produced by B lymphocytes in the immune system. It is mainly composed of four polypeptide chains, including two heavy chains and two light chains. These four chains are connected by disulfide bonds to form a Y-shaped structure. The basic unit of an antibody includes two functional regions: (1) Variable Region (V region): Located at the two arms of the antibody, it is an important region that determines the specificity of the antibody. The variable region can bind to specific antigens to form an antigen-antibody complex. (2) Constant Region (C region): Located at the base of the antibody, it is responsible for interacting with other components of the immune system (such as complement and cell surface receptors) to exert its biological functions. Antibody sequencing is a method that uses advanced gene sequencing technology to accurately determine the amino acid sequence of antibodies. This technology can analyze the gene sequences of the light and heavy chains of antibodies, helping researchers gain a deeper understanding of the structure and function of antibodies. Accurate antibody sequence information is the basis for antibody drug development, guiding antibody engineering modification and improving drug specificity and efficacy. Antibody sequencing can also help confirm the source and specificity of antibodies, ensuring the reliability and reproducibility of experimental results.

      Services at MtoZ Biolabs

MtoZ Biolabs has established an advanced antibody sequencing platform, leveraging high-precision, high-resolution mass spectrometry equipment and extensive experience in bioinformatics analysis. This platform can quickly and accurately analyze the primary structure of antibodies, suitable for sequence analysis of different antibody subtypes (such as IgG and IgM) and various types of antibodies (such as fluorescence-conjugated antibodies, immobilized antibodies, and antibodies from different species). Additionally, MtoZ Biolabs has developed a PCR-based antibody sequencing workflow combined with degenerate primer design. This PCR-based antibody sequencing method is more cost-effective and less time-consuming compared to mass spectrometry-based methods. At MtoZ Biolabs, we provide comprehensive antibody sequencing services, covering all analysis steps involved in antibody sequencing. We can analyze the full-length sequence of the antibody, the amino acid sequence of the variable region, and complete sequence information for the light and heavy chains. Our antibody sequencing services include: (1) Mass Spectrometry-Based Antibody Sequencing; (2) PCR-Based Antibody Sequencing. We are dedicated to offering high-quality antibody sequencing solutions to meet diverse research needs.
