    Aspartic Acid Analysis Service

Aspartic acid, also known as aspartate, is one of the 20 proteinogenic amino acids. It is non-essential in mammals, as it can be synthesized from central metabolic pathway intermediates. Aspartic acid is involved in numerous biological processes, including the citric acid cycle, purine and pyrimidine biosynthesis, and protein synthesis. It's also a main component of certain excitatory neurotransmitters in the nervous system. Its roles and functions make it an important area of study in biochemistry and metabolomics.

The amount of aspartic acid in organisms or biological samples can be indicative of various metabolic states and diseases. For example, high aspartic acid levels can be associated with certain neurological conditions, while low levels can indicate liver disease. Furthermore, aspartic acid metabolism is tightly linked to other important pathways, such as the citric acid cycle, meaning that changes in aspartic acid levels can have broad metabolic impacts. As such, analysis of aspartic acid content and metabolism can be a valuable tool in diagnostics, disease monitoring, and understanding of basic biology.

At MtoZ Biolabs, we are experts in metabolomics and mass spectrometry. We use state-of-the-art HPLC-MS/MS (high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry) technology for precise, reliable aspartic acid analysis. Our experienced team of scientists is dedicated to delivering high-quality results and providing comprehensive data analysis.
