    Baicalin Analysis Service

Baicalin is one of the earliest discovered flavonoid compounds, mainly found in plants such as Scutellaria baicalensis and butterfly orchid. It has biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiviral, and anti-cancer, and is an important ingredient in drugs and health products. However, the content of baicalin is unstable, affected by factors such as raw materials, preparation process, storage conditions, etc., so it is very important to accurately quantify baicalin. MtoZ Biolabs offers efficient and accurate baicalin quantification services.

      Services at MtoZ Biolabs

We use high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for the quantitative analysis of baicalin. Our sample pretreatment method is safe, environmentally friendly, fast, and effective, with an average recovery rate of up to 99%. We strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOP) for sample pre-processing to ensure maximum homogeneity between samples. In addition, our experimental plan is highly individualized and can be flexibly adjusted according to customer needs.

      Analysis Workflow

      1. Sample Collection: Fresh plant tissues or product samples.

      2. Sample Processing: Sample processing is conducted according to SOP standards.

      3. Baicalin Quantitative Analysis: Quantitative analysis is performed using HPLC.

      4. Data Analysis: Creating standard curves, performing original data preprocessing, and performing absolute quantification of baicalin.

      5. Analysis Report: Providing a complete analysis report, including experimental procedures, HPLC parameters, purity analysis report, HPLC original data file and data quality inspection, metabolite quantification data, etc.
