    Castasterone Analysis Service

      Castasterone is an important plant steroid hormone belonging to the brassinosteroids (BRs) family, regulating plant growth, development, and various physiological processes such as cell division, cell expansion, stem elongation, leaf expansion, and reproductive development. The chemical structure of castasterone features a typical steroid backbone with multiple hydroxyl groups, which gives it significant biological activity in plants. In plants, castasterone is produced through the biosynthesis pathway of brassinosteroids and is eventually converted into more biologically active brassinosteroids, such as Brassinolide. Castasterone itself plays a crucial role in promoting cell division and expansion, being essential for overall plant growth and development. The content and metabolic rate of castasterone can significantly influence plant growth speed, stem thickness, and response to environmental conditions. Research on castasterone and its biosynthetic pathway is of great importance in agriculture and horticulture.        Sample Submission Requirements
