    Diabetes Metabolomics Service

Diabetes is a severe chronic disease that affects billions of people worldwide. The disease mainly involves a decrease in insulin secretion and/or activity, leading to elevated blood glucose levels, which in turn affects the function of various tissues and organs in the body. Although the cause and pathogenesis of diabetes have been studied to some extent, its complexity and individual differences still pose challenges to the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes.

To address this issue, MtoZ Biolabs offers diabetes metabolomics service to discover new biomarkers, reveal the pathogenesis of the disease, and provide a basis for drug development and clinical treatment.

      Service at MtoZ Biolabs

Our diabetes metabolomics service framework mainly consists of the following parts:

      1. Sugar Metabolism Research

By detecting blood glucose, insulin, metabolites of diabetes-related diseases, and other related biochemical indicators, to understand the pathogenesis of the disease.

      2. Disease Biomarker Discovery

Through metabolomics analysis, find metabolite biomarkers that can distinguish between diabetes patients and healthy populations.

      3.Drug Development and Mechanism Research

Through metabolomics analysis, understand how drugs affect the metabolic status of diabetic patients, and provide references for the development of new drugs and the improvement of old drugs.

      Experimental Instruments

Using high-resolution mass spectrometry platforms such as GC-MS, LC-MS, UPLC-MS, thousands of metabolites can be screened from a single biological sample, providing a comprehensive method for exploring disease mechanisms.

      1.Chromatography

      • GC (Q Exactive) (-mode MS)
      • HPLC: HILIC (+/- mode MS)
      • HPLC: RP C18 (+/- mode MS)
      • IC (-mode MS)

      2.Mass Spectrometry

      • Q Exactive MS
      • Orbitrap Tribrid Mass Spectrometry
