Dihydromyricetin (DHM), also known as ampelopsin, is a flavanonol, a kind of flavonoids. It is found predominantly in vine tea. This compound has been known for its various therapeutic properties like anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-cancer, and especially hepatoprotective and neuroprotective properties. It has also been reported to promote alcohol metabolism and reduce the impact of hangovers.
