    Ethylene (ETH) Analysis Service

Ethylene (ETH) was the first gaseous molecule identified to have hormone-like effects and plays a crucial role in the regulation of plant growth and development. Its functions span multiple stages of the plant life cycle, from promoting adventitious root formation to regulating seed germination, flower senescence, fruit ripening, and abscission. Additionally, ethylene also plays a role in plant defenses against pathogens and responses to abiotic stresses such as hypoxia, cold, and nutrient deficiencies. Accurate monitoring of ethylene levels within plants is essential for optimizing growth conditions and improving yields due to the varying sensitivities of different plant species and their developmental stages to ethylene.
