    Eudesmic Acid Analysis Service

Eudesmic acid consists of a syringic acid core, with a carboxylic acid group (–COOH) at position 1, a hydroxyl group (–OH) at position 4, and two methoxy groups (–OCH₃) at positions 3 and 5, with the molecular formula C10H12O5. This compound is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, particularly as an intermediate in the production of drugs with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, or antimicrobial properties. The quantification and purity analysis of eudesmic acid are typically performed using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and mass spectrometry (MS) can be used to determine its molecular weight and structure.
