    Fish Metabolomics Service

Metabolites are the end products of cellular metabolism and are highly sensitive to external influences. Their characteristics can be seen as specific responses of biological systems to genetic or environmental changes. Metabolomics plays a crucial role in advancing research on fish ecotoxicology, thermotolerance, nutrition, post-harvest quality, health and disease, and aquaculture. MtoZ Biolabs employs high-resolution HPLC-MS/MS technology to offer metabolite identification and analysis of metabolic level changes in fish studies.

      Applications

      1. Study the mechanisms of fish diseases, identify disease-related biomarkers, and promote disease prevention and control.

      2. Investigate the impact of different environmental conditions on fish growth, development, and metabolic networks.

      3. Examine the metabolic changes during gonadal development and reproduction in fish to enhance the juvenile fish breeding industry.

      4. Analyze small molecules in feeds, foods, drugs, premixes, and relevant components in fish nutrition.

      5. Research the residues of antibacterial drugs, chloramphenicol, antibiotics, and other medications in fish.
