Iridoid glycosides are natural products widely found in many herbaceous plants. Geniposide (C17H24O10) is a well-known iridoid glycoside found in nearly 40 species belonging to different families, especially the Rubiaceae family. In addition to this herbal component, researchers have isolated and characterized dozens of natural derivatives. Furthermore, substantial pharmacological evidence has demonstrated the various biological activities of geniposide, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antidiabetic, neuroprotective, hepatoprotective, and choleretic effects. MtoZ Biolabs offers qualitative and quantitative analysis of geniposide, aiding in the more effective and safer development and utilization of this iridoid glycoside.
