Hesperetin is a chemical substance mainly derived from young citrus fruits in the Rutaceae family. Hesperetin is a member of the dihydroflavone group, usually a light yellow needle-shaped crystal or powder. Hesperetin is insoluble in water, soluble in methanol, ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. Hesperetin has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, lipid-lowering, anti-tumor and cardiovascular protective effects, and can be used in health care drugs and health products, some cosmetic additives and food. In addition, hesperetin as a pharmaceutical raw material, related drugs can be used for strengthening the stomach, expectorant, antitussive, dispelling wind, diuretic, anti-retrograde and stomach pain.
Technical Principles
We use high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) technology for hesperetin analysis. HPLC is a liquid chromatography analysis technology, which separates the sample by high performance liquid chromatography, and then detects it, so as to achieve qualitative and quantitative analysis of various components in the sample.
