    Naringin Dihydrochalcone Analysis Service

Naringin dihydrochalcone is a glycoside derived from naringin, which is found abundantly in grapefruit. This compound is also present in citrus fruits and certain other plant sources. Naringin dihydrochalcone is well-known for its intense sweetness, being about 300-1800 times sweeter than sucrose, making it a popular non-caloric sweetener.

The genetic regulation of naringin dihydrochalcone biosynthesis involves complex pathways of flavonoid metabolism, which have been extensively studied in citrus trees. The primary forms of this compound are usually linked to its glycosylated derivatives. Naringin dihydrochalcone often coexists with other flavonoids and glycosides within the plant matrix.

Pharmacologically, Naringin dihydrochalcone exhibits various beneficial effects. It has been shown to possess strong antioxidant properties, helping to neutralize free radicals and thereby protecting cells from oxidative stress. Additionally, it has anti-inflammatory and cholesterol-lowering properties. Naringin dihydrochalcone also aids in reducing bitterness in certain foods and beverages, enhancing palatability.

      Services at MtoZ Biolabs

Our Naringin Dihydrochalcone Analysis Service is based on the advanced LC-MS/MS platform, a powerful technology for the identification and quantification of metabolites. LC-MS/MS combines the physical separation capabilities of liquid chromatography (LC) with the mass analysis capabilities of mass spectrometry (MS). This technology offers high sensitivity, high resolution, and accurate mass determination for the identification and quantification of naringin dihydrochalcone.

      Analysis Workflow

      1. Sample Preparation: Homogenization, extraction, and purification of the sample.

      2. Qualitative Analysis: By LC-MS/MS, main types of naringin dihydrochalcone are qualitatively analyzed.

      3. Quantitative Analysis: The content of naringin dihydrochalcone is quantitatively analyzed by LC-MS/MS.

      4. Data Analysis: Raw data are processed to obtain accurate information on the naringin dihydrochalcone.
