    Glycan Profiling

Glycosylation is integral to numerous biological processes, including protein folding, cell-cell recognition, signal transduction, and immune responses. Aberrant glycosylation patterns are linked to diseases such as cancer, infectious diseases, and diabetes. Glycan Profiling refers to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of glycans on proteins, lipids, or other biomolecules. This profiling provides insights into glycan structures, compositions, and their alterations. Glycosylation analysis is crucial for the quality control and functional evaluation of biopharmaceuticals like monoclonal antibodies. Additionally, glycosylation patterns serve as biomarkers for disease diagnosis and treatment monitoring.

MtoZ Biolabs has established a robust and professional Glycan Profiling platform, utilizing the Thermo Fisher Q Exactive HF and Orbitrap Fusion Lumos mass analyzer systems, coupled with a Nano-LC system. Our objective is to offer unparalleled support for our clients' research.

      Analysis Workflow

      1. Sample Preparation: Includes protein extraction, glycan release, and labeling.

      2. Separation and Purification: Glycans are separated and purified using HPLC, CE, and other methods.

      3. Detection and Identification: Glycans are detected and identified via MS, HPLC, CE, and other techniques.

      4. Data Analysis: Detection results are analyzed to obtain glycan structures and quantitative information.
