    Scutellarin Analysis Service

Scutellarin is a flavonoid compound primarily found in the herb Scutellaria baicalensis, also known as Baikal skullcap. It is renowned for its wide range of pharmacological effects and is widely used in traditional medicine for various therapeutic purposes. The plant containing scutellarin is utilized for its properties, such as reducing inflammation, protecting against oxidative stress, and supporting cardiovascular health. It has been explored for its potential in treating conditions including cardiovascular diseases, neurodegenerative disorders, and respiratory infections. Scutellarin is soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and alkaline solutions but is insoluble in non-polar organic solvents. In aqueous solutions, it typically appears as a yellow crystalline substance. Its solubility in alkaline solutions results in a deeper yellow color. Due to its extensive therapeutic potential and broad applications, establishing a precise analytical method for scutellarin is essential for research and quality control purposes.
