    Strigolactone (SL) Analysis Service

      Strigolactones (SLs) are a novel class of plant hormones that control various aspects of plant growth and development, including shoot branching, root architecture, and secondary growth. These hormones are also involved in the interaction between plants and other organisms, such as symbiotic fungi and parasitic plants. They are characterized by a lactone ring linked to a tricyclic lactone or an aromatic ring system. As plant hormones and signaling molecules, strigolactones have significant effects on plant physiology and adaptation to environmental conditions. Changes in SLs can be associated with a variety of plant diseases and stresses, making them potential biomarkers for plant health.
