Cardiovascular Diseases Analysis Service
Cardiovascular diseases are usually associated with systemic inflammatory responses, such as increased expression of inflammatory proteins CRP, IL-1, IL-6, IL-18, and TNF-α. These proteins can be considered as diagnostic markers for the risk assessment of various cardiovascular diseases. For instance, CD40, which belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, and CD40L play a crucial role in T-cell dependent B-cell responses. Additionally, CD40 and CD40L lead to atherosclerosis and thrombosis formation. The pathological process of cardiovascular diseases is also linked to the increased expression of adhesion molecules, particularly sICAM-1 and sVCAM-1. The inflammatory process related to heart disease begins with the infiltration of the myocardium by activated monocytes and macrophages, resulting in myocardial cell damage. The chemokine MCP-1 plays a significant role in this process.
MtoZ Biolabs utilizes flow cytometry to simultaneously quantify cytokines and proteins related to cardiovascular diseases, providing higher sensitivity and a broader detection range. The following table lists the cytokines detectable in human samples, and MtoZ Biolabs also offers testing for other species. Free project evaluation, welcome to learn more details!
